Diving Services UK was established by Dave Shaw in 1993, and over the past 30 years steady and sustainable growth has lead us to become the UK’s premier media diving company.
We are a commercial diving company specialising in the supply of diving and marine support, with experience on thousands of films.
We pride ourselves on being a small niche company with a reputation for safety, values and service.

UNDERWATER STAGE - PINEWOOD STUDIOS

Designed by Dave and built in 2004, and now home to Diving Services UK, The Underwater Stage at Pinewood Studios was the world’s first, studio based, permanently filled underwater stage. It contains 1,200,000 litres of warm (32°C) water. The pool is 20 meters long, 10 meters wide and 6 meters deep, has 3 viewing windows, 60 wall fixing points and two structural steels in the floor. The Underwater Stage is on two levels with a production office, makeup and wardrobe rooms, and a workshop downstairs, and changing rooms and a first aid room at pool level upstairs.
